I recommend you look at this on a PC: https://scaleofuniverse.com/

It’s a fun way to zoom into the smallest things in the universe or all the way out to the largest things.

The universe is made our of galaxies, which are made out of solar systems, which are made out of suns, planets and moons, which are made out of stuff like gas, air, land, sea, people, animals, houses – which are made out of elements like iron, carbon, oxygen and nitrogen, which are made out molecules, which are made out of atoms, which are made out of particles, which are made out of ???

We keep getting smaller and smaller – but then things get so small we can only guess right now!

Again, probably best to ask this question in another zone too – as this hasn’t get much to do with psychology 🙂

I’m glad James has been here to provide some sort of answer because physics really isn’t my strong point haha!

      Thanks for asking this question.
From a psychologists perspective – it is kind of cool when you think that everything that we see and observe and think about, is actually just a bunch of chemicals flowing through our bodies. We interpret what we see as the world around us and the universe.
I find it kind of helpful to remember that our experience of our world and universe is just that – our senses sensing and then our brains interpreting – it can be helpful to remember this if our thoughts and feelings become overwhelming- again it is just chemicals flowing through our brains.

      Cheese!

Not really. No James and Sally’s answers have got this covered – I agree with Sally it’s nice to zoom out and imagine the bigger picture 🙂
