Question: What is the least favourite thing about your job?

Mmm, it’s a pretty great job. But probably my least favourite thing is the number of emails – I’m hoping that a scientist in one of the other zones might be working on an ’email answering machine’ right now!

There are other things that are hard about my job – most obviously when one of the clients that I work with is really having a hard time or is struggling to cope – but that is a different sort of ‘least favourite’ thing. Although these times can feel hard, I also feel like I can make a difference and am helping. It’s important that as a psychologist we look after ourselves because of the type of work we do, so there are people that I can talk to for support about these situations.
