      ‘Be curious about human behaviour’

It is difficult to get work experience in a prison environment, but actually that’s OK. People are people, whether they are living in a prison or not. Being a forensic psychologist in a prison is about understanding human behaviour – what makes us do what we do, and we can apply this anywhere. If you walk around asking ‘I wonder why ….?’ that’s a good start to being a psychologist!

(Also my advice would be – ‘do it! It’s great!’ – but I am a bit biased 🙂 )
