Several computer software system development projects involve psychologists, since it is important to understand how users will interact with the software, and what they will think about it. This is particularly important when personal information is to be processed. Questions that psychologists help to answer include: Will the users be happy that their details are being sent to government agencies, Will users think it is intrusive if the software predicts what they would like, or knows where they are. What sort of pin, password or picture puzzle will users be able handle. How can we tell if the remote user is another child, or is a pedophile pretending to be a child?
