I have been skiing in lots of places. In my job, I am fortunate enough to have to travel to meetings all over the world. If those meetings are in the winter in a place near to a ski resort, then I would take the weekend off to go skiing. Examples include
      – many resorts in Switzerland, France and Italy.
      – many resorts in Utah.
As a family, we have been skiing in Italy (Sela Ronda), France (Deux Alps, Alpes de Huez, Val Thorens, Porte de Soleil), Austria (St Anton, KItzbuhel, Lech, Solden, Zell am See), Bulgaria (Pamporovo), Scotland (Grampians), Slovakia (Jasna).
I can honestly say that Scotland is the worst place in the world to go skiing, and France is the best (although if you like powder, then Utah)
