David Chadwick answered on 15 Mar 2019:
The future is bright, the future is continual jobs and employment for security specialists, for ever. Why do I say this?
Because no system is un-hackable, no country is un-conquerable, no building is un-bomable, no bank is un-robbable. In other words, attackers will always find a way in, given enough time, effort and money.
And given that some of the best hackers in the world are the CIA and Israeli intelligence (they invented Stuxnet the most advanced malware so far, which broke the Irananian nuclear centrifuges) then you have little chance of protecting your computer against them.
But do not worry. Very few people are interested in hacking you. You only have to make your PC more secure than you neighbours’ and your friends’ PCs. “When you are being chased by a hungry mountain lion, you do not need to outrun it, you only need to outrun your friend”.
