The last film I watched on Netflix was Roma, and the last documentary was about Pablo Escobar.
I am learning Spanish, so watching Spanish programs with English subtitles is helpful.

I haven’t got Netflix! But I do have a heap of other ways to consume things on screen. My favourite thing to watch at the moment is Young Sheldon – which portrays Sheldon – an adult character in the Big Bang theory, when he was a child. It is great as it is possible to see the trajectory of his early experiences which led him to be the adult that he became.

I’m not watching anything at the moment but the last thing I watched was Russian Doll, about a woman who keeps reliving the same day and has to confront her fear of letting people help her to be able to keep going. Writing that makes me realise how it is quite a psychological plot!

I’m in between shows at the moment, so by all means feel free to recommend anything to me during the live chats!
The last series I had invested time into was Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Sex Education! Both hilarious whilst still managing to explore fairly serious topics with a level of empathy and understanding.

I am watching How to Get Away With Murder, which is basically House MD, but with lawyers. Carried along heavily by Viola Davies in the same way that House MD would be nothing without Hugh Laurie. There’s some great psychological ideas explored in it, in a difficult-to-believe sort of way!

Everything I watch right now is just distraction until the last season of Game of Thrones comes out. OhgodhurryupIwanttowatch it.

Maniac on Netflix starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill is beautiful. It’s a crazy pseudosciencey look into how to “cure” problems from your mind. I would recommend it to any budding psychologists, just to understand the lengths people will go to, and what they will believe, in order to find their place in the world.
