From what I can tell, not exactly. Dark matter is real, and concentrated dark matter is a hypothetical form of this that may or may not exist/have the capacity to exist at some point. But I don’t know a lot about physics, was always my least favourite science at school!

Concentrated dark matter is a fuel that Rick from Rick and Morty invented to travel super fast.

It’s a fictional take on dark matter – which has never actually been found because (if it exists) it can’t be directly observed. The only reason we think it exists is because scientists who observe space have noticed weird patterns of gravity that can’t be explained by normal matter.

Dark matter sounds like a cool science thing, so is often used in fictional stuff. Other examples are in video games like final fantasy (an item that causes big destruction) and half-life 2 (a thing that allows aliens to make powerful weapons).

Yes it was pretty good, but I prefer the diluted form best. I found the concentrated dark matter to be rather heavy on my stomach

So as Dan and James said – no, it isn’t a real thing.

I like your question though – it shows how amazing our brains our – that we can think about a matter that no one has ever experienced, or is really sure it exists, that is so far away that we will never come into contact with it. We are pretty confident that there are no other animal brains on earth that can think in this hypothetical way – and it is this ability to imagine and to be creative that has made us the species that we are today!

I don’t know! I’ve never heard of this!
