      What an interesting question – that’s really made me stop and think.
      I think working with younger people there is a really big potential to make a difference, which is great. I do also think that CBT can have a big impact later in life though. I interviewed a lot of people for a podcast I made for my job (this one: http://letstalkaboutcbt.libsyn.com), and they told me about making really big changes when they were older, after having CBT.
      I don’t know what the evidence says about when CBT or other kinds of talking therapy make the biggest difference, although I think there is some research that says the sooner you can tackle a problem the less severe it will get, and of course the less time you have to deal with it.
